How ThermaSound Got Started
A Man with a Mission
Living in Ohio, Ned wanted to insulate his house to stay warmer in the cold winters. After a lot of research, Ned settled with traditional insulation. During remodeling several years later, Ned was surprised at just how much the ordinary insulation had settled to the bottom of the wall.
Frustrated that he wasn't getting the insulation benefits that he had paid for, Ned searched for alternative insulation products on the market that would be unaffected by time or moisture. Unsatisfied with the available options, Ned leveraged his chemical engineering and business background to create the ThermaSound Insulation business.
Ned believes that installers shouldn't be at a health or comfort risk during the insulation installation process and that customers shouldn't have to settle for bad insulation that deteriorates over time. Ned has been awarded several patents from the USPTO and worked with partners throughout the US to be able to provide the best insulation products on the market through ThermaSound® Insulation. Ned is grateful to have accomplished his goal of providing workers an easy to install foam insulation that stands the test of time and a quality product that provides lasting benefit to customers.
